I got my first camera for my 18th birthday which is where my love for photography first started. To begin with I didn't really know what I was doing, but I knew that I enjoyed it and wanted to learn more.
I started taking photos of my surroundings, family and the trusty doggo, experimenting with the way the camera worked. As I got more familiar with my camera all I wanted to do was take more photos.
I started asking for lenses for birthdays and Christmases, along with a telescope to combine my interest in astronomy with photography.
Two years ago I started my Instagram page to start showcasing my photos and started to share them with some local photography communities.
As a result of this, I have had the pleasure of having two of my pieces displayed in a photography exhibition. I've also been lucky enough to work for Gloucester Museum taking photographs of particular artefacts using different photography techniques.
Armed with my Canon 7D MK II, I decided it was time to expand and try to make a name for myself, and get shooting.
I haven't yet got a studio, however that is in the pipeline. I personally think getting out and about to a favourite destination for instance, will be more rewarding for you with no synthetics, thus making the shots taken 100% natural bringing a more personal feel to each photograph.
